Crossover Upgrade for Micca MB42/MB42-C Speakers (MKIII)

The warranty does not cover accidental damage to the MB42/MB42-C or crossover that occur in the process of installing this DIY crossover modification.

Bring the sonic performance of your MB42 or MB42-C up to the level of the MB42X/MB42X-C with this DIY crossover upgrade kit. Each kit comes with the crossover unit, speaker wire terminal cup, foam wire-wrap strips, and a hex wrench.

Choose the model of your speaker using the model selection box below. The kit for MB42 comes with two crossover units. The kit for MB42-C comes with one crossover unit.

Designed as a drop-in upgrade to the MB42/MB42-C, this DIY crossover kit is pre-assembled, requires no soldering. An illustrated instruction sheet provides step-by-step guidance on the installation procedure.

The MB42X/MB42X-C crossover is the product of a rigorous design process, perfectly formulated to unleash optimal performance from the MB42/MB42-C. Its design incorporates a Zobel impedance network and full 18dB/octave alignment for the woofer and tweeter.

With the crossover in place, the MB42/MB42-C offers dramatically improved upper midrange and treble. Vocal clarity, especially for female singers, is significantly enhanced. Treble performance is much smoother and a touch brighter. Woofer breakup modes and inter-driver phase cancellation are both effectively controlled. With this crossover in place, the MB42/MB42-C becomes an even more of a sensational value in home audio than it already is.
